Community Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and nurturing Community Care Support Specialist to provide support for clients across the Gold Coast, Queensland, on a casual or part-time basis.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Accompanying clients during daily activities, running errands and going on outings
  • Food preparation and shopping
  • Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
  • Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
  • Providing social interaction and companionship
  • Transport to appointments
About You / Qualifications
  • You must hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification
  • Previous experience in aged care or disability of at least one year is required
  • A NDIS clearance is essential, along with a COVID-19 Vaccination
  • A Current Police Check is also required
  • You must have own car and relevant insurances
  • Dementia care qualification is highly desirable
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills are necessary
