Job Title: Senior Accounts Officer

This role is responsible for overseeing core financial and operational processes, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and timely reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile key financial records and assist with audits, general journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Oversee and approve accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage international shipping documentation, liaise with customs agents, review purchase order changes based on shipment details
  • Support inventory control by processing adjustments, item receipts, applying landed costs, and assisting with stocktakes as needed
  • Provide backup for sales invoicing, domestic and international billing, support international payments via NAB Connect and ANZ Trade platforms
  • Monitor and manage trade debtors and creditors, maintain accurate customer statements, deliver monthly AP reporting
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role within the agricultural industry
  • Confidence managing foreign currency transactions, inventory-related financial processes
  • Proficiency in financial systems (NetSuite preferred), Microsoft Office suite
  • Exceptional attention to detail, focus on accuracy, financial integrity
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, collaborate effectively across teams, external stakeholders
  • A proactive solution-focused mindset, identify process improvements contribute to operational efficiencies
Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Work Environment:

Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
