Irrigation Team Lead

This is a permanent, full-time position within the Parks Services team.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and support a team of Reticulation Maintainers and contractors in their day-to-day activities.
- Maintain irrigation systems according to established standards and optimize groundwater resource utilization.
- Operate and maintain commercial irrigation systems, diagnose faults, and perform controller troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the team in the field and provide administrative support to the Irrigation Supervisor as needed.
- Exemplify effective communication and safety practices, adhering to Workplace Health and Safety policies.
- Demonstrated expertise in the operation and maintenance of commercial irrigation systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills for controller troubleshooting and fault identification.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, particularly verbal interaction.
- Intermediate level of computer proficiency.
- Knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, policies, and best practices.
