Job Description

">

As a Remote Operations Mine Controller, you will play a critical role in optimising our truck fleet in central Queensland, working from the heart of the Brisbane CBD. You will be part of a dynamic team that works together to deliver exceptional results, driving production efficiency and safety standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

">

- Develop and implement strategies to improve production scheduling and optimise truck fleet performance
- Foster positive relationships with site operations teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
- Monitor compliance with operational benchmarks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Gain exposure to the entire coal supply chain, working closely with other IROC teams to enhance interfaces and overall performance
- Contribute to cutting-edge machine learning programs to improve CHPP quality management and drive business outcomes
- Manage and optimise the truck fleet to support safety, production, and cost objectives
- Work a rotating 12.5 hour shift roster, including night shifts and weekends, in a fast-paced environment

Your Essential Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a mining or related industry, with a strong understanding of operational systems and processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify causes and develop rectification plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments, meeting tight deadlines and delivering results-oriented solutions
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Fleet Management software such as CAT MINESTAR
