Delivery Network Optimization Specialist

The goal of Amazon Logistics is to build a world-class last mile operation, focusing on exceeding customer expectations through quick, accurate, and cost-effective delivery.

In this role as a Process Engineer, you will support the standardization and optimization of our Last Mile delivery network, ensuring safety, customer experience, productivity, quality, and cost goals are met.

You will lead the optimization of AMZL Delivery Stations by driving process innovations, developing safe and efficient equipment, and creating Infrastructure design standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and improving Amazon Logistics equipment and processes to enhance safety, customer experience, capacity, speed, quality, and cost goals.
  • Initiating, defining, planning, and managing the rollout of product features and enhancements for the next generation of AMZL Delivery Stations.
  • Presenting concepts, designs, program updates, and roadmaps to senior leadership on a frequent basis, requiring strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Integrating new equipment designs, process improvements, safety enhancements, etc., into standard designs.
  • Leading multiple high-priority projects involving management and influence of stakeholders from multiple functional areas and regions.
  • Leading site selection and evaluation processes, drafting test fit layouts, and identifying relevant issues impacting economic or operational value.
  • Preparing specifications and technical details to define requirements for building environment, equipment, material, process, and services.
  • Reviewing technical documentation to ensure it meets requirements before issuing to contractors.
