Job Title: Senior Health Care Leader

This senior role entails overseeing multiple responsibilities across quality of care, financial administration, general management, environment, and human resources to ensure high standards of care and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in health care management, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Responsibilities include ensuring delivery of high standards in nursing and social care, compliance with regulations, staff training, and innovative practices.
  • The ideal candidate will also manage budgets, monitor financial procedures, and understand funding and fee structures.
  • They will conduct team meetings, liaise with community agencies, handle complaints, and promote the organization within the community.
  • Key responsibilities also include implementing health and safety policies, ensuring hygiene standards, and overseeing maintenance and catering quality.
  • The selected individual will participate in staff recruitment, training, and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A qualified RGN with at least 3 years' recent experience caring for older persons is required.
  • The post holder should hold a post-registration management qualification in health or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' management experience in health and social care is essential.
  • The selected candidate must be registered on the NMBI live register.
  • Proven healthcare management experience, leadership, organizational, and communication skills are highly desirable.
  • Financial acumen, team motivation, flexibility, and initiative are key qualities for this role.
