Job Title: Host Leader, Restaurants

Job Summary

As Host Leader, you will lead the team responsible for delivering the first impression of our venues to our guests. Your welcoming personality and positive persona needs to resonate through your team. Quick thinking skills and a 'not a problem' attitude will help you run a busy door.

Key Responsibilities
  • Show exceptional guest relationship skills and instill these in the greater host teams.
  • Enhance the guest experience and manage concerns in a professional and caring manner.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain venue SOPs, SOS, and professional standards.
  • Develop and maintain a high-touch, best-in-class service environment.
  • Manage the host team life-cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and team development in line with Sofitel and House Made Hospitality values.
  • Develop a strong and sustainable team culture that is in keeping with Sofitel and House Made Hospitality brand values.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience as a host in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a CBD/corporate environment.
  • Strong team management capabilities.
  • Experience in writing and delivering training and development.
  • Thorough understanding of how a restaurant door operates, the processes, and how to manage unforeseen challenges.
  • Strategic revenue-driving experience through clever seating processes.
  • Expert understanding of SevenRooms.
