About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in North QLD. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute a Regional Sales Plan: Create and implement a sales strategy to achieve short and long-term sales objectives, profit targets, and market position.
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Proactively identify and develop new business leads within the North QLD region through prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing deals.
  • Manage Client Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Provide Market Insights and Feedback: Offer accurate and timely feedback on market conditions, customer developments, and project updates using the tools provided.
  • Deliver Accurate Reports: Provide timely and accurate reports as required to support business decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Business-to-Business Sales Experience: Demonstrated experience in a business-to-business sales position, with a proven track record of success.
  • Business Development and Sales Results: Proven business development experience and sales results, with a strong understanding of the motor vehicle industry or industrial services environment.
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Commerce, Business, or a related discipline are advantageous.
  • Decision-Making and Problem-Solving Skills: Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Report Writing and MS Office Skills: Advanced report writing skills and a high level of proficiency in the MS Office suite.
  • Licence to Drive Manual Vehicles: A valid licence to drive manual vehicles (C class) is essential.
