About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team at EnviroCom Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering behaviour change programs to improve sustainability outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental sustainability, with a focus on waste management and community engagement. You will be responsible for designing and delivering education and engagement interventions to a range of stakeholders, as well as conducting desktop research, fieldwork data gathering, analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver behaviour change programs to improve sustainability outcomes
  • Conduct desktop research, fieldwork data gathering, analysis, and reporting
  • Develop and deliver education and engagement interventions to a range of stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement behaviour change strategies
  • Conduct waste segregation audits and provide recommendations for improvement

About You

  • 24 to 36 months post-graduate work experience in a sustainability or environmental field
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work in a small team environment and engage with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of environmental and sustainability issues, particularly in the field of waste management
  • Class C drivers licence (essential)
