Transport Planning Role

As a senior leader in our Transport Planning team, you will provide technical direction and mentorship to deliver sustainable transportation solutions. With expertise in policy development, transport strategy formulation, and multi-modal planning, you will contribute to the strategic development of our Advisory Business Unit.

  • Lead and manage the national Transport Planning team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Provide technical guidance on Transport Planning projects and workstreams, leveraging your knowledge to drive innovative solutions.
  • Serve as Project Director or Project Manager on large assignments, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Offer technical advice to clients on transport challenges, offering expert insights to inform their decisions.
  • Support business development and account management for government transport clients, identifying new opportunities and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Oversee bid development for Transport Planning projects, leading the preparation of proposals and pitches.
Qualifications & Experience:

We seek a highly experienced Transport Planner passionate about improving transportation networks, with expertise in:

  • Policy and guidance development
  • Transport strategy formulation
  • Multi-modal and place-based transport planning
  • Movement and Place frameworks
  • Options analysis and business case development

Essential qualifications include a tertiary degree in a relevant discipline, membership in industry bodies (e.g., AITPM), and a proven track record in consulting, client delivery, and industry networking. Strong communication skills and experience leading multidisciplinary teams are also required.
