Belgravia Leisure is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Café/Kiosk Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons
  • Maintain the appearance and presentation of the café, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and facilities
  • Replenish condiments and supplies as needed to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions with accuracy and efficiency
  • Apply sound cash handling principles and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems to minimize errors and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Promote the centre's services and programs to our patrons and develop strong relationships with regular customers
  • Provide information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options and special deals
  • Work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, with the possibility of increased hours during peak periods

Requirements

  • Positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Coffee making and barista skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Food handling certificate and current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2)
  • Current CPR Certificate and Food Handlers Qualification
  • Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
