Job Summary

This role involves coordinating the efficient management of track maintenance resources to ensure safe, timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of road patrols and track monitoring activities
  • Efficiently allocate workgroup resources and activities
  • Conduct regular audits of completed work and implement speed restrictions as required
  • Oversee training and performance management of direct reports
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety
Requirements:
  • Cat 3 driver qualification and experience in road patrol
  • Track protection certification and knowledge of rail standards
  • Substantial knowledge of rail construction, maintenance and inspection practices
  • Strong leadership, communication and people management skills
  • Sound level of skill in asset management and coordination
