About the Role

Care Connect is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to provide in-home care to our clients in need of support with daily living activities. As a Home Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients to live independently and safely at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care and Hygiene Assistance: Provide support with personal grooming and hygiene, including medication reminders, to ensure our clients maintain their dignity and well-being.
  • Domestic Support: Assist with domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry, to help our clients maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Meal Preparation and Grocery Shopping: Plan and prepare nutritious meals, and assist with food shopping, to ensure our clients receive the sustenance they need to thrive.
  • Mobility Assistance: Provide support with mobility within the home and local community, to enable our clients to maintain their independence and participate in activities they enjoy.
Requirements
  • Right to Work in Australia: Ensure you have the necessary documentation to work in Australia.
  • Driver's Licence and Vehicle: Possess a valid driver's licence and own a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • Police Check and Working with Children Check: Hold a current police check and working with children check.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate: Possess a current first aid and CPR certificate.
  • COVID-19 Vaccinations: Have received a minimum of 3 COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Qualifications and Experience: Hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, or a Bachelor's or Diploma in Nursing, and have a minimum of 3 months of paid experience working in the aged care or community care sector.
