Our organisation is seeking an accomplished Community Program Specialist to develop, promote and evaluate initiatives that engage local participants.

This role will cultivate positive outcomes and opportunities for both individuals and the community.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in community development, who can effectively design and implement programs that meet the needs of our community.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.

As a Community Program Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing community programs, promoting them through various channels, and evaluating their effectiveness.

You will also be required to identify areas for improvement and suggest ways to enhance the impact of our community programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum Certificate III in youth work, community development/welfare, human services or related discipline, or equivalent level of experience in the social and community sector.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in undertaking youth-related activities.
  • A current light rigid driver's license and a Restricted Drivers' Authority (or ability to obtain).
  • A current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain).
