Job Description

The Role of an Industrial Relations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Industrial Relations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on contemporary industrial relations, high level dispute resolution, strategic employment frameworks, and management of enterprise agreements to achieve business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance on awards, enterprise agreements, legislation, policies, and industrial relations matters to all levels of management and employees.
  • Assist in the case management of employee matters to resolve grievances and disputes through the provision of advice to management at the workplace level or by independent review and reporting.
  • Represent the organization and assist in the negotiation, development, and implementation of enterprise agreements for all employee groups, including relevant unions/employee representatives.
  • Maintain current professional knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and industry practices to ensure compliance with industrial relations legislation.
