Job Overview:

The Senior Auditor role is currently available in our Townsville office. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong understanding of Australian auditing standards and accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with CaseWare Working Papers and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct standard auditing activities for review, ensuring jobs are completed effectively and accurately across time-frames.
  • Assist in preparing business reports and management letters for clients to highlight key issues and recommended actions.
  • Determine the audit strategy, timetable, and schedule employees, acting as a point of contact for engagements.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients to maintain and drive ongoing engagements.
  • Work with an exciting and diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.

Requirements:

  • CA or CPA qualification or working towards this.
  • Sound business acumen with the ability to manage multiple priorities within agreed timelines.
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving mindset.
  • Genuine desire to be an enthusiastic and active lead to our growing team.
  • High level of experience with CaseWare Working Papers and financial statements.
