Behaviour Support Practitioner Role

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and making a positive impact on the lives of people with complex needs.

The successful candidate will have a degree-level qualification as an allied health professional, such as Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work or Psychology. They will also be proficient in developing and delivering PBS plans, and have experience working with people with challenging behaviours.

About the Role:

  • Develop Behaviour Support Plans using a positive behaviour support framework.
  • Assist individuals and their families to identify their needs and develop meaningful goals and strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with a small, cohesive team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completed a degree-level qualification as an allied health professional.
  • Proficient, advanced or specialist status as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • Demonstrated experience working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering PBS plans and training to staff and other key stakeholders.
