Key Responsibilities
  • Maximise sales revenue, margin, and volume of Waratah's rural products through extensive contact with end users, distributor clients, and key influencers of buying decisions.
  • Develop sales plans required to achieve sales targets and monitor market trends.
  • Achieve sales targets by influencing large contractors, end users, and other key stakeholders.
  • Influence stakeholders by articulating product benefits, demonstrating these products, and providing training.
  • Prepare proposals and detailed costings that consider our environment and encourage the purchase of higher-margin products.

We're seeking an experienced professional with a robust understanding of the Australian agricultural industry and a passion for farming. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • An agricultural-related qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • A passion for farming is essential.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills are necessary, as is the ability to deliver effective presentations to individuals and groups.
  • A positive attitude and drive to succeed are crucial.
  • The ability to generate new business opportunities and leads is paramount.
  • A willingness to travel and be away from home regularly is required.
