Job Description

The Sustainability Specialist will work closely with the Sustainability Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy across the organization's global operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic advice on reducing carbon emissions and environmental impact
  • Developing recommendations for continuous improvement of systems and processes related to ESG risk management and sustainability reporting
  • Preparing mandatory and voluntary sustainability reports, including data collection and analysis

Additionally, the Sustainability Specialist will:

  • Ensure all global locations and functions obtain and record sustainability data in the Envizi data platform
  • Gather and analyze relevant data for sustainability reporting, especially in preparation for mandatory climate reporting
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement in sustainability reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sustainability role within the professional services or finance industries
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in sustainability reporting, including understanding of global and local reporting frameworks and standards (ISSB/ASRS, GRI, UNGC, Modern Slavery reporting)
