Job Description:

As a Mechanical Junior Engineer, you will be responsible for managing maintenance and modifications of equipment. Your tasks will include maintaining records of scheduled and breakdown maintenance, verifying conformance to quality, safety, and environmental standards, and ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained.

Additionally, you will provide engineering support for the operation of mechanical plant and equipment, assist in compiling construction reports, and contribute to the development of procedures and processes for maintenance and repair activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on infrastructure projects, specifically with machinery and equipment. A strong understanding of risk management principles, quantitative and qualitative risk assessment, and basic cost control skills is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Masters or Undergraduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 1-3 years' experience in relevant discipline
  • Quantitative and qualitative risk assessment and monitoring of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of projects
  • Skills in relevant computer software packages; Microsoft Suite etc.
