Corporate Transactions Expert Sought

We're looking for an experienced corporate transactions specialist to join our Sydney or Melbourne team. As a key member of our Corporate Transactions group, you'll work on high-profile matters across Australia.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years PQE in M&A and excellent technical and drafting skills. You should also possess a commercial mindset, strong team orientation, and the ability to mentor junior colleagues.

  • Public and private M&A experience with takeovers, business/asset acquisitions and disposals
  • Equity capital markets IPOs and ASX listing rule advice
  • Restructuring and recapitalisations Joint ventures and corporate governance

Recent projects include:

  • Soul Patts' proposed A$14bn merger with Brickworks
  • CC Capital Partners' A$3.4bn proposal to acquire Insignia Financial
  • Healthscope's sale of hospitals acting as receiver
  • VGW's proposed A$3.2bn scheme with LEO
  • e2open's A$4bn acquisition by WiseTech (as Australian counsel)
  • Harmony Gold's proposed A$1.6bn scheme for MAC Copper
  • And ANZ's A$4.9bn acquisition of Suncorp Bank
