**The Role**

Reporting directly to the EGM Development/M&A, the **Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst** role forms an integral part of the team, which is responsible for development and implementation of REMONDIS's mergers and acquisitions strategy.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Developing projections, reports and presentations regarding considered mergers and acquisitions;
- Performing financial forecasting and modelling;
- Discussing M&A opportunities with Senior Management;
- Preparing detailed evaluations of Merger and Acquisition targets, and preparation of proposals to the board;
- Organising and conducting due diligence in cooperation with Senior Management and Consultants;
- Coordinating key internal and external stake holders;
- Assist in REMONDIS Australia's market monitoring and market analysis;
- Conducting post merger / acquisition / project analysis;
- Assisting with post-merger integration.

**About you**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar
- Strong financial background;
- Up to 3 years previous experience in a M&A, Due Diligence or Financial Analysis role.
- Well-developed computer skills with great proficiency in Excel;
- Strong administrative, time management and organisational skills;
- High level of energy and intrinsic motivation;
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- High degree of resilience, curiosity and resourcefulness.
