Neurology Nursing Opportunities
We are seeking suitably qualified nurses to join our dynamic team in a thirty bed Neurology ward. The Acute Stroke Unit receives patients directly from emergency and post transfer from Intensive Care after thrombectomy interventions.
The position involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the greater healthcare team to achieve quality patient care outcomes.
To be successful, you will need:
- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current experience in an acute hospital environment.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
This is a Category A position which requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases. You will be required to complete the OASV Undertaking/ Declaration Form during the recruitment process.
