Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Asset Manager to manage the operational ownership of unique hotel portfolios with central corporate support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel management, with experience in strategic asset management, business planning, and financial analysis. They will be able to develop and oversee the achievement of strategic asset management and business plans tailored to each client hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and overseeing the achievement of strategic asset management and business plans tailored to each client hotel.
  • Scrutinising financial statements, analysing value drivers against budgets, forecasts, industry and competitor benchmarks.
  • Conducting meetings with hotel owners and managers to assess trading performance, compliance and pinpointing areas for improved owner returns, activation or revenue generation.
  • Delivering monthly and quarterly reports to clients, offering well-crafted commentary and analysis on key performance indicators, along with strategic advice to support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Proactively identifying and managing risk and compliance and assisting in the design and implementation of mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in hotel management, preferably with a global hotel management company or consultancy.
  • Strong hotel operational management expertise within branded and third-party settings.
  • An engaging leadership style to collaborate and bring the best out of hotel departmental heads and varied stakeholders.
  • Highly numerate and proficient with advanced skills in MS Excel.
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to deliver well-honed business reports and written client presentations.
  • Ability to identify and successfully manage the delivery of contractual obligations.
