Senior Clinical Educator

The Clinical Nurse Educator role is responsible for providing high-quality clinical training and education to nursing staff within a hospital setting. The primary objective is to deliver tailored educational programs, assess and demonstrate best practice clinical procedures, and foster a supportive mentorship environment that encourages the growth and development of less experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive in-service educational programs designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff
- Conduct regular assessments and demonstrations of clinical procedures to ensure adherence to best practice standards
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to support the professional development and enhancement of clinical skills among less experienced staff members
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives and learning activities to meet individualized learning needs
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Relevant post-registration clinical or education qualifications, or current certification as a Workplace Trainer and Assessor
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a relevant clinical specialty field, demonstrating a strong understanding of competency requirements for quality clinical care
- Demonstrated experience in a preceptor/mentor/coach role, utilizing contemporary education methods to motivate and develop staff towards a culture of continuous learning
