Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified primary teacher who is enthusiastic, has excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to Christian schooling.

This is a full-time position that will commence in the near future.

About The Role

The successful candidate will join a highly competent and supportive primary teaching team.

They will be responsible for improving student learning and wellbeing outcomes, receiving feedback on their teaching and implementing changes.

They will also be expected to support an explicit instruction approach to teaching, based in a knowledge-rich curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Display the capacity to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes.
  • Support an explicit instruction approach to teaching, based in a knowledge-rich curriculum.
  • Effectively plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes.
  • Demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
  • Have an active Christian faith, suitable tertiary qualifications and NESA accreditation (or be eligible).
  • Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check.
