This role offers a unique opportunity to join our eMobility/Transport Infrastructure and Assets team in North Sydney, contributing to the delivery of electrification projects for transport hubs and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define performance expectations for employees and contractors, and coach performance against these standards
  • Actively promote safety awareness and safe work practices, and compliance with safety management plans
  • Build effective internal and external relationships to ensure open and honest communications, and any problems/concerns are resolved in a timely manner
  • Ensure all project activities are designed, planned, and carried out in accordance with relevant safety systems and comply with State and Federal regulations
  • Operate within UGL's Project Management framework and its associated processes and procedures across all areas of the assigned project(s)
  • Establish and implement clearly defined budget controls
  • Review Schedule of Works and Bill of Quantities for all works
  • Establish Work Breakdown Structures and ensure they are implemented
  • Ensure relevant personnel are aware of obligations under the contract and that the change management process is clearly understood
  • Update resource forecasts (people, equipment, materials) as required
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering
  • Project Management qualification, preferably AIPM Diploma level or above
  • AIPM certified Practicing Project Manager (CPSPM) or PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Sound understanding of PMBoK, Prince2, Agile, or other appropriate project management methodology
  • Experience in MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent scheduling software
  • A minimum of 5 years' demonstrable experience in project management in a multi-disciplined operational, assets development, and maintenance or engineering environment
