As Director of Satellite Cyber Operations, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture and promoting a sense of belonging among our employees. You will lead a team of experts who share your passion for innovation and cybersecurity.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Technical Specialists and Network Engineers to design, architect, implement, and manage Satellite IP networks and cyber security platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with cyber and network security requirements, policies, standards, and legislations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Soldier On, Ltd and the wider organization to ensure relevant actionable security requirements and best practices are met and enforced.
  • Develop and deliver key initiatives, roadmaps, and Annual Operating Plans (AOP) for Satellite IP & Cyber platforms, tools, and capabilities.
  • Maintain operational effectiveness of IP networks and cyber security controls across Satellite commercial service and TTC networks.

About You

  • You must be an Australian citizen and hold a Defence Security clearance or be willing to apply for security clearance.
  • You should have a qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline with substantial experience in IP and Cyber Security.
  • Cisco certification (CCNA, CCNP) and certification/training in information security and cyber security are highly desirable.
  • You should have extensive relevant experience with a solid background in business decision-making and people management experience.
  • You should have deep engineering capabilities of IP infrastructure, applications, and communication protocols.
  • You should demonstrate skills and experience in cyber security compliance, processes, risk management, controls, threats, and responses.
