We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to work 2 days per week at our Sydney based client. The ideal candidate must have proven ability to deliver key initiatives, facilitate workshops with third-parties and business stakeholders and mentor a junior analyst.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish end-to-end cyber security controls and procedures across various domains, including user access management, incident response, privileged access management, security awareness and security operations.
  • Develop and maintain identity and access management policies, procedures, and technical standards documentation.
  • Implement user access management procedures, including new starters, terminations, transfers and periodic access reviews.

The role involves delivering a multi-faceted security awareness program to embed a cyber-savvy culture across the organisation. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing mobile device management solutions to protect business-sensitive data.

Solid project management skills, including schedule management, issue prioritisation and status tracking, are essential for this role.

Requirements
  • More than seven years of experience in IT security with strong technical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to actively listen and work collaboratively with IT and business stakeholders.
  • High levels of personal integrity – working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
