About the Position

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with stakeholders and key partnerships to promote the success of Queensland's programs and sectors.
  • Advise on cabinet materials, representing the department's interests.
  • Research and construct policy for ministerial and cabinet consideration.
  • Manage the implications of policy changes from internal and external perspectives.
About You
  • Hold 2-3 years of senior government policy management experience.
  • Have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Understand ministerial and cabinet processes, particularly in policy formation and submission.
  • Possess excellent organisation and time management skills to work in a fast-paced department.
  • Be able to strategically prioritise the department's needs, managing impacts to internal and external stakeholders.

This position requires an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, or Permanent Resident, with willingness to undergo a National Police History Check.
