About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Advisor to join our team at BMD Constructions. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement sustainable solutions that meet regulatory and client requirements.
- Drive innovation in sustainability practices, starting from the design stage, to minimize environmental impact and maximize efficiency.
- Oversee the implementation of sustainability strategies during construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain Business Management Systems (BMS) to support sustainability initiatives and data collection for Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) projects.
- Implement and maintain Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) Management Systems.
- Provide technical sustainability support for tender and delivery phases of projects, ensuring that sustainability requirements are met.
- Assist in the development and training of employees in sustainability matters and opportunities, promoting a culture of sustainability within the organization.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to ensure the delivery of sustainability requirements and objectives.
- Maintain ISC accreditation and pursue opportunities for professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
