The role of Metallurgist plays a pivotal part in the transition to clean energy solutions. Reporting to the Senior Metallurgist, you will provide technical expertise to the Processing team to achieve high-quality production outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the operational team to deliver technical information and direction, including problem-solving and target setting;
  • Maintain production quality to meet specifications and planned production rates;
  • Manage metallurgical accounting and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements;
  • Identify and implement projects to enhance plant efficiency; and
  • Conduct plant surveys and trials as required to optimize performance.

This is a permanent, full-time position working an attractive roster (8 days on, 6 days off). A tertiary qualification in Extractive Metallurgy or equivalent is necessary, along with a minimum of 3 years' experience. You will need to demonstrate a commitment to contributing towards the success of your team while promoting a positive team culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A tertiary qualification in Extractive Metallurgy or equivalent, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field are essential for this role. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also highly valued.
