Airnorth is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our NT Engineering Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, conducting routine and non-routine maintenance, and performing repairs on various aircraft systems and components in accordance with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations applicable to Certificate of Approvals, and demonstrated time management skills to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft as directed.
- Supervise and certify for aircraft work carried out by unlicensed AMEs and apprentices.
- Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft systems and components.
We are looking for Engineers who hold a CASA licence, have high levels of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, great problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the ability to work and contribute proactively within a small team environment.
Airnorth Engineers are required to use various systems across the CASA and company networks and must have the ability to obtain and hold an ASIC as well as an Airside Drivers Licence. Human Factors training and a current passport are also essential.
Darwin Airnorth Engineers are currently employed under an 11-hour shift over a 4 day on, 4 day off roster. Travel may be required on short notice, especially in AOG situations.
