Electrical Installation and Maintenance Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical components and systems.

This role involves working on a wide range of customers' sites, maintaining, installing, and assessing electrical assets and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out all tasks in accordance with directions provided in daily work packs
  • Complete facility electrical and related project works as directed by supervisors or managers
  • Take complete responsibility for the installation of services, equipment, and materials used to complete work
  • Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears
  • Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans
  • Report all electrical incidents, hazards, and near misses and report back to relevant supervisors and client representatives
  • Ensure all electrical statutory testing and maintenance is carried out and recorded as required
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Requirements:
  • Electrical trade qualification
  • Current WA electrician's license
  • Valid drivers license minimum class C, HR advantageous
  • Construction card (white card)
  • Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation, and permitting systems
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of electrical work
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and architectural drawings at a minimum
  • Strong commitment to health and safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
