Speech Pathologist Job Opportunity

This position offers a unique chance to work in the UK's National Health Service (NHS) as a Speech Pathologist.

About the Role

As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing life-changing treatment, support, and care for children and adults with communication difficulties or problems with eating, drinking, and swallowing.

You will help individuals who experience physical or psychological challenges that affect their ability to speak and communicate effectively.

Some key duties may include:

  • Planning, administering, and/or supervising goal-oriented treatment programs
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing treatment programs, making necessary modifications
  • Applying knowledge and understanding of the effects of disability or dysfunction on patients' physical, psychological, and social well-being
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6-12 months paid experience in Speech Pathology
  • A Speech Pathology Degree (BSc) or an equivalent qualification

Additional qualifications such as Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration are desirable but not essential.
