Job Description

This role combines operational excellence and strategic thinking, covering two key areas: Payroll Management and Onboarding Excellence. As a Transformational Payroll Expert, you will:

  • Own the fortnightly and monthly payroll processing, driving efficiency and compliance.
  • Be the go-to expert for payroll queries, ensuring accurate and timely solutions.
  • Ensure employees on parental leave and other leave types are paid correctly.
  • Prepare essential employment documents, such as promotions, terminations, parental leave letters, bonuses, and salary adjustments.
  • Stay ahead of payroll legislation changes, implementing best practices.
  • Support the testing, configuration, and optimization of our new payroll system.

You will also deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience, ensuring every new hire feels welcomed and set up for success.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for someone with 3+ years of payroll experience and a strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processing, compliance, and reporting. You should have deep knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Tech-savviness is a must, with strong Excel skills and experience with payroll systems.
