Rollingstock Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rollingstock Maintenance Technician to carry out preventative maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding on rolling stock. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a depot team, maintaining safety standards and contributing to a clean and safe depot environment.

This role offers opportunities for ongoing training and development, with a focus on performance and safety.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding on rolling stock, supporting carriage overhaul and refurbishment programs, responding to in-service defects, derailments, and incidents, and maintaining safety standards and contributing to a clean and safe depot environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have:

  • Skilled in preventative and unscheduled maintenance, fault finding, and repair on rolling stock
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a depot team
  • Knowledgeable in derailment and accident recovery, safety, environmental, and quality practices
  • Hold a current National Driver's Licence (Class C)
  • Hold a Mechanical Engineering Trade Certificate
