Deputy Director of Indigenous Business Growth

The Deputy Director Aboriginal Economic Development is responsible for supporting the Director Economic Development Network to deliver on Departmental priorities and strategies that improve economic outcomes for Aboriginal people, communities and businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- To embed an Aboriginal lens in all work programs and ensure Aboriginal inclusion is considered in regional NSW priorities.
- To support aspirations that grow the Aboriginal business sector, improve employment and training pathways, and deliver economic prosperity to Aboriginal communities.
Requirements
- Experience providing expert advice, reports and briefs to senior leaders to support strategic decisions.
- Ability to advise on effective ways to engage Aboriginal businesses and organisations in shaping new policies and programs.

- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and economics.
- You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build partnerships with regional stakeholders, government agencies, the private sector and Aboriginal organisations.
