Lead Accounting Advisory Professional

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our advisory services practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supporting clients through complex accounting matters, commercial implications, and practical solution development.

The team undertakes a wide range of engagements for public and private businesses, banks, private equity houses, and law firms. As a lead accounting advisory professional, you will execute client engagements, conduct financial analysis, and present findings in written reports.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing matters, developing problem definitions, and designing solutions considering reporting, compliance, and commercial objectives
  • Applying detailed knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting pronouncements
  • Reviewing contracts and information received, identifying further information required to complete analysis
  • Analysing and interpreting highly complex information, including accounting, financial, and business records
  • Drafting client reports and presentations detailing project scope, methodology, and findings
  • Developing project planning and management skills
  • Supervising junior staff and providing coaching
  • Developing client relationships and a broader professional network

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
  • CA, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
  • Professional accounting experience, including audit or other assurance
  • Strong understanding of technical accounting advisory and related compliance and commercial implications
  • Proficiency in English and excellent language and interpretive skills
  • Strong analytical and process analysis skills
  • Detailed knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
