Project Engineer Job Description

A Project Engineer is required to execute service projects on rotating equipment, including turbines, compressors, and generators. The role involves working with minimal supervision to ensure compliance with customer satisfaction, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Executing service projects on rotating equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with customer satisfaction, quality, and safety standards
  • Providing technical support for project managers, site superintendents, and site supervisors
  • Collaborating with customers to identify and implement corrective actions
  • Supervising off-site work and ensuring all change orders and variations have inspection and test plans
Requirements:
  • Degree qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering or trade certificate qualifications with significant experience
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in rotating equipment
  • General commercial and contractual understanding
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
