Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and direct clinical staff within the clinical unit
- Ensure procedures and guidelines are conducted to industry standards
- Operational Management
- Organize and manage the servicing and maintenance of all clinical equipment
- Administer Investigational Products, prescription, and medications
- Manage consumables for clinical unit use
- Clinical Care
- Provide general nursing care and monitoring participants' well-being
- Conduct procedures such as vital signs, ECGs, blood collection, blood processing, and data collection
- Emergency Response
- Provide leadership and manage emergency situations
- Communication and Liaison
- Liaise with clinical operations management
- Participate in the development and training of clinical unit staff
- Quality Assurance
- Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Learning & Development packages
- Ensure direct line reports of the clinical unit have Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) completed and maintained as identified in the corporate KPI goal
- Staff Management
- Rostering and leave management for clinical unit staff
- Registered Division 1 Nurse with AHPRA (no restrictions)
- 3 years minimum post-graduate experience
- At least 1 year experience in a supervisory role
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage staff and coordinate shifts
- Enthusiastic, driven, positive, and highly motivated
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and effectively in a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with participants and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain a professional level of confidentiality
