Storage Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Storage Engineer to join our team at HiTech Group. As a Senior Storage Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing network switches, as well as managing data centres, server hosts, and automation storage.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deploying, managing, and tuning storage systems
* Producing design documents, operations documents, and build documents
* Mentoring junior team members
* Exploring new and emerging technologies to shape the future direction of our storage and data platform

Requirements:

* Experience in design, administration, and troubleshooting of storage systems
* Experience with HPE StoreOnce or NetApp
* Ability to produce and design operations documents for processes and procedures
* Experience or knowledge of VMware, vSphere, and vRealize (desirable)
