Job Opportunity in Integrated Water Management

Are you looking for a role that combines strategy, technical expertise and community impact? We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Consultant to join our specialist water group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver end-to-end independent IWM projects with councils, developers and other stakeholders.
  • Develop strategic stormwater management plans for local councils, incorporating IWM principles where appropriate.
  • Facilitate projects at the intersection of IWM, stormwater and flood management, sustainability, planning and urban greening.
  • Engage with councils, developers, authorities and consultants to address complex challenges.
  • Lead the evolution of our water team by example and quiet conviction.
  • Identify and pursue new work and project opportunities.
Requirements:
  • A strong technical foundation in IWM, including water resources, flood modelling, stormwater and river science.
  • A degree in civil or environmental engineering.
  • Deep understanding of how waterway health, flood risk and stormwater systems interlink.
  • The ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity.
  • Local private sector experience in Melbourne, with 10-25 years' experience ideal.
