Optical Network Development Engineer, Global Infrastructure Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Optical Network Development Engineer to join our dynamic team within AWS Infrastructure. This role offers the perfect blend of technical challenges and opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, operate, and roll out global DWDM networks
- Drive scaling current DWDM designs to meet customer demands
- Create processes to operate and build DWDM networks
- Collaborate with other networking departments on new designs
- Ensure DWDM networks adhere to defined network standards
- Review and implement changes on DWDM networks
- Develop innovative solutions to complex problems

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of automation scripting experience using Python, Bash, Shell, and/or Perl
- 5+ years' experience with large DWDM network rollout and optical network technologies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment
Estimated Salary:$120,000 - $180,000 per year
