As a seasoned Engineering and Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement robust maintenance strategies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Mentor and develop high-performing teams in heavy industrial maintenance environments.
  • Streamline internal and external contractor management systems for maximum efficiency.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to enhance preventive maintenance processes.
  • Ensure assets are managed in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a culture of proactive maintenance practices to boost Planned Maintenance levels.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive metrics to monitor maintenance expenditure, reliability, safety, and plant integrity.
  • Effectively manage maintenance work order backlogs to minimize downtime.
Key Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in heavy engineering/industrial environments with a strong track record of success.
  • Extensive knowledge of Contract Management principles and best practices.
  • Experience leading work teams in unionized environments is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in OH&S policies and procedures with a commitment to safety excellence.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CMMS software.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Able to write clear and concise reports and maintain accurate records.
