This role involves collecting, analysing and reporting condition data on heavy mobile equipment using vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing and oil analysis. Your insights will help prevent unplanned downtime and optimise fleet performance across the site.

  • Perform routine condition monitoring (vibration, thermography, ultrasonic, oil sampling)
  • Analyse trends and detect early signs of equipment failure
  • Prepare detailed equipment health reports and recommend maintenance actions
  • Collaborate with Reliability Engineers, Planners, Mechanics to schedule proactive maintenance
  • Maintain and calibrate diagnostic tools
  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and statutory requirements
Requirements:
  • Cert III in Automotive Mechanical or equivalent (desired)
  • Relevant NDT certifications (Magnetic Particle Inspection Level 1 or 2 mandatory)
  • Vibration Analysis, Ultrasonic Testing, Thermography certifications (desired)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in mining or heavy industry maintenance
  • Current WA C Class Driver's Licence
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication
  • Computer literacy including CMMS (AMT, SAP, VIMS, SKF systems)
