Asphalt Field Technician

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill this position.

Job Overview

This role involves conducting a variety of tests on construction materials such as asphalt and aggregates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform coring of asphalt, sand patch testing and straight edge testing, as well as aggregate sampling from quarries when required.
  • Analyze and interpret testing results.
  • Set up and calibrate equipment.
  • Assist the technical team in laboratory operations.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated success in a technical or laboratory environment.
  • Able to work flexible hours including night shifts and weekends as needed.
  • Able to work under pressure and solve problems.
  • Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques is preferred but not essential.
