Data Centre Security Leader

As a Facility Security Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our data centres. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day security operations, including managing uniformed security officers and implementing security protocols.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in physical security systems, including facility security installations, surveillance systems, and electronic access control systems. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive program security guidance concerning personnel, physical, operational, technical, industrial, counterintelligence, and media management
- Creating, implementing, communicating, and managing security requirements at a large, government-accredited site
- Drafting and reviewing security documentation, including transportation plans, procedures, and CONOPs
- Proactively identifying program and physical security requirements, problems, and sound solutions to successfully sustain and enhance the security of program execution
- Performing and/or supporting the operations and maintenance of security hardware and systems employed onsite to meet government and AWS requirements
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Expertise in physical security systems, including facility security installations, surveillance systems, and electronic access control systems
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders
- A proven track record of growth and increasing responsibility that require maturity, judgment, negotiation, analytics, and influence skills

- Experience with workflow ticketing and extraction of performance metrics
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain or already hold Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance
