**Job Summary**

We are seeking a qualified Casual Swim Instructor to deliver high-quality learn-to-swim programs across our leisure facilities.

This is a casual day-to-day role with shifts available Monday to Sunday, morning and afternoon, up to 38 hours per week.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Demonstrate exceptional teaching skills in delivering high-quality swim programs of various levels;
  • Deliver swim programs as per Council Learn to Swim Program guidelines and lesson plans as directed by the Crew Leader;
  • Continually review and track participants' progress;
  • Ensure participant safety at all times through provision of safe activities and continual supervision of swim class members;
  • Prepare lessons and equipment as instructed.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Holding a current AUSTSWIM qualification in teaching swimming and water safety or equivalent;
  • Providing Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID 001 / HLTAID 009);
  • A Working with Children Check Clearance Number or Application Number; or willingness to obtain prior to any offer of employment;
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality swim programs or coaching swimming;
  • Ability to embrace change and commitment to work across multiple locations.
