About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate strategy into operational plans for the department
  • Coach individuals and teams in the application of BOS principles, practices, and tools
  • Communicate narratives about the problem or idea at hand, using visual representations to engage and motivate the audience
  • Assess change impacts and prepare integrated change management plans
  • Identify, engage, and manage a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Plan, track, and manage projects to generate value and drive achievement of project outcomes
  • Conduct presentations and facilitate workshops using storytelling to connect, influence, and engage the audience
  • Identify, implement, and evaluate the success of continuous improvement activities/initiatives
About You

We are looking for individuals who possess technical business knowledge, demonstrate excellence in leadership on a day-to-day basis, are innovative with a bias to action, effectively influence others, and have a strong ability to build capability in others and lead change.

As a successful candidate, you will possess:

  • Degree or Professional qualification in business or related discipline
  • Proven leadership capability in a professional environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading system initiatives/projects, ideally in a global environment with high-profile stakeholders
  • Experience in stakeholder management in large, complex organizations
  • Exposure to mining is ideal, but experience in other industries that utilize an operating system founded on lean principles would be highly regarded
  • Understanding/exposure to continuous improvement methodologies and organizational change
  • Ability to establish credibility as a trusted advisor through strong improvement, leadership, coaching, and communication skills
